Fuel pump settings JX/GTD how to get more fuel ?

Last year i swapped out my old JX fuel pump for a GTD pump and got some levers from simon @ brickwerks... I have been upping the fuel and backing off the idle screw to get some more power out of her . I have a problem now in that i can't back off the idle anymore as the throttle cable wont allow the arm to move back any further and i just get a gap between the idle screw and the throttle shaft crank bracket thingy . I can loosen the screw between the top lever and the throttle shaft crank bracket thingy and move them apart but this obviously does not actually lower the idle and only increases the gap between the throttle stop screw and the mating plate on the throttle shaft crank bracket thingy effectively giving me more possible throttle movment ..... or it would if my pedal would allow for the extra movement , instead all the happens is the throttle plate stays 15mm away from the stop screw and the idle stays the same .. I think im hitting a brick wall when wanting to add more fuel and can't get my head around how to add more , i have fair bit more adjustment left to match the boost level i am running and my EGT's are fine.

The way i see it i can:

Modify the throttle linage under the pedal to allow more movement: will this extra movement allow me to add more fuel ? am i actually limited and not getting max fuel delivery at the moment ?
Move the throttle arm bracket thingy a spline or two back : i can't see how this helps as you still have the same effective throttle movement
Do the Govenor mod : will this help ? should i do it in combination with either of the above ? im bloody nervous as my missus when she drives it is perfetly capable of shifting from 5th to 2nd ....

Some of you must be old hands at this lark a little help would be greatly appreciated !

When i converted from 1.6td to a 1.9Y engine the throttle arm spindle on the 1Y fuel pump was splined this allowed me to adjust the idle speed by backing off the spline to lever for the throttle cable. From memory undo the spindle nut and refit the throttle arm to a diffrent position on the spline to the spindle.

this is what confuses me , i can see how that works as a method to reduce idle speed , but to what gain ? surely i can just wind the fuel screw back out to reduce idle ?

the full throttle movement i have currently would remain the same and therefore the fuel to throttle posistion ratio would remain the same no matter how much i wound in the fuel screw then backed off the idle with spline adjustment ? or have i got this all wrong ?

I can only go from the experiance i had with the 1Y fuel pump idle speed problem i had.I adjusted the long threaded screw for the throttle arm and slackened the cable to get as low idle speed as possible. But was unable to get engine revs low for an acceptable idle speed. So i undone the splined spindle nut to the throttle arm and turned it unill the revs where low then refitted it to the throttle arm.
