Am thinking of purchasing a wind out awning for pop top westfalia. Would appreciate advice on the best option eg Fiamma, Omnistor as well as which type fits best and lastly the best source/supplier.
Thanks in advance

Is that an F45 S ? I am guessing I would need a 2.6m one? Looks like I need to buy the fittings separately? Any tricky stuff about fitting them?

I think being a pop top makes life a bit more tricky but it can be done apparently. Search the Campers forum and a couple of threads should crop up.

Yes we have fitted one to our T25, you need extra brackets,£70.00 NEW (we have some for sale IF YOUR INTERESTED) pm US, F45i 2.5 fit ok and are cheaper than the F45S

I got a mint 2.5m Fiamma Zip awning (with brackets) for £150 via brick-yard.
It is really a F45 awaning that originally came with zipped side and front panels which the seller wanted another £150 for
Like most things if you are prepared to bide your time the bargain fairy comes along

And this weeks top tip...
When searching fleabay or the like try just searching 'caravan awning' and trawling through the dross....
We have just bought a 3m Omnistor, only used twice, cost him £475 new for a very nice price of £175!!
He had it listed just as 'caravan awning' so nobody saw the item!! Well worth the 10 mins or so it took me to look through the listings..

No mystery fitting the Fiamma F45Ti to a PopTop just pigging expensive brackets.
Just make sure the nuts for the brakets are fitted internally (heads outwards otherwise you will find the thread catching the PopTop)
2.5 looks best (as in austhetic's) but the 3 metre covers the front door that little bit more making the likelyhood of rain entering the sliding door less likely. 2.5 metres are fine if the rain doesn't come down at an angle
Ours is a 2.5 metre BTW.
Note**** DO NOT FIT the retaining bolt the way Fiamma has in this picture below*****
Very old picture of my van when we first fitted the 2.5 metre F45Ti Fiamma (gives you an idea of how long it is and how it looks fitted but not wound out)
Note* The 3 metre version gives an extra 25cm both ways so to the end of the PopTop, rear and the middle of the front door frame, front which in my opinion doesn't look as nice but does offer slightly better sliding door protection.

Fitted f45 2.5 with grey canvas. Looks the business and works a treat. You weren't kidding about the fixings though. Jeez. Still it was pretty straight forward even for an idiot like me
