Hi again,

This ere second hand van runs lovely but i can't work the fridge out. Just popped out to a camp site to try the 240v hook up and nothing seemed to happen :( . The 12 v doesn't seem to work either although I have heard they take ages to cool?.

The van is a Westy Joker with a three way electrolux fridge.

Heard about the fuses possibly where are they?

thanks again

Claggy(new boy doesn't know what he's doing)

How long did you have it running for on the 240v? It will take quite a while too cool, if you have it on full whackm after a couple of hours ice will form on the fins in side the fridge. It doesn't make any noise when running so if you just plugged it in and you didn't hear anything then it could be working, you just didn't have it on long enough.
12v will start to cool things on a fairly long run, a good couple of hours will see it running nice and cold.

I expect you know but you can get a household plug to hook up conection that will allow you to chill your fridge on your drive way, or at least test it for peace of mind before going on a trip.
