I was thinking more along the lines of a square "ring" manifold with a fixing bolt in the centre, if you know what I mean. Not so much a copy, more of an "homage"

That's if I can find a suitable place to site it on the engine!

Similar idea, but imagine the drillings all offset from the centreline in a clockwise fashion, breaking into each other and leaving space in the centre for a fixing bolt.

just got this delivered this morning i know it will fit on my engine and should fit on wbx dont know what the space is like for a diesle, it has 3 threaded inputs for senders just got to re tap the thread to accept my oil tem sender. which will be right in the flow of the oil (a good thing) i cant see any reason why a oil pressure sender could not be incepted in to this as well.

wrong place to take the pressure as it would be constantly at line pressure
best place is from the lifter gallery the 0.3bar switch.

Pressure sender needs to be as close to the main bearings as possible Neil, so just screw it into the side of your B23. No clearance problems to worry about?

It's very commonly done with sandwich adapters. The one you have is sold as an easy place to install senders, but sandwich plates are mostly used as take-off for a remote oil cooler. I use only the Mocal thermostatic ones for my cooler kits, and although some people have drilled them for senders, I feel the wall thickness isn't sufficient, there's only enough for 2 or 3 good threads. That may be OK for someone's own install, but not OK for me to offer to customers as I would have to back up any problems if I made the mods, and it would also void the Mocal warranty.

Something like this is also an option if you have a remote cooler:

The difference in pressure measured at a sandwich plate as compared to the main galley would be higher by the differential across the filter, since the senders are screwed into the outer wall of the adapter. Filter drop is only 2-3 psi warm, the auto gauges most of us might buy have margins of error of at least that much.

i am planning to insatall the adapter between the engine block and my mocal (thermostatic) take of plate as a means of measuring the oil temp. as said before the mocal sandwich plate has no where obvious that i could install the sender.
i did not realise that the pressure sender location was so critical, always learning
