Ok,next time I'm camping it right up...was a grand day out non the less but seemed like I was rushing about all day..drove there and back at about 75mph..used far to much fuel...why did it not occur to me to stay untill I got there? It was nothing like I expected, took in so so little of the stuff on show as I spent the whole day talking!
Fabbz...the Bucky is a Scottish "tradition"...and as your off up there may be some advance training will come in handy...
The 3 things I need in my life just now are a CB, an ammo box to put my grill in when its covered in lard, and a reverse camera monitor...and did I buy any of those...no!
Did have a mega pint of cider...wish I could of done a few more.

Best Show of the year.
Big thanks to Clive and Jenny for the organisation. Top effort. Great to see the Campervan Culture stand so busy, I hope you guys did really well. Its so much better when you have people selling products because they know that they are the best product on the market, as they have tested them, and are passionate about them. I never realised that I would need sunglasses with my new reversing lamps!!!!!
Will definitely be there next year, hopefully in a syncro rather than an oztent, and hopefully all camping and cooking together together.
Reckon Syncronauts is the best club in the whole arena, all real friendly, chilled out people that just want to talk and help.
Only regret of the weekend was driving Dai's van, not because I didn't like it, but because it was so awesome that I realised that I need one that drives and sounds the same!!!
Cheers Rich

It was good to meet lots of you, thanks for making me welcome,
It was also nice to put faces and real names to 8090 usernames, although I am afraid I am as crap with names as I am with dates as some of you know -
Here's what you get if you go to Stratford Racecourse the weekend before !!!
Some adventure, they need some of Fabs rum!

They got the weekend wrong for OA13, turned up early, no Syncros to see so they ended up watching all Jeds Vids.

Er.. what they said! I can only chime in and say I had a great time. Thanks to those who said 'you've gotta go Andy'. The show was a real eye-opener onto a scene I knew little about, and I met a number of interesting characters. The crack in the Syncro area was awesome.
Apologies if I seemed a bit subdued on Sunday..

Also nice to have the company of Aidan and Si on Sunday night. Roll on the next one !

We enjoyed it too... esp. the 80% rum Fabzz ! But think Buckfast should be re-named 'jaw-jaw' and then banned
Many, indeed most helped or contributed to the Syncro stall and happenings; food and drink was outstanding, 8 metres of tables packed with an eclectic range of consumables; can't imagine anyone needed to go cook afterwards. Was Ms Max Karisma who suggested the succesful Mexican theme, thanks to the many who cooked, prepared or brought food and drink.. esp the Margaritas that kicked the evening off to a good start.
Fantastic that so many Syncros came, and was a real treat to find more new members dropping in... a great choice of event to come and introduce yourself at

It means the club must be still developing and as someone said, the diversity of professions and interests outside Syncro ownership is truly enormous making meeting up a potentially life expanding experience....
The club's new big Colman shelter was well and truly christened Saturday night, must have been over 30 in there at one point, with lots outside too...
Being opposite CvC worked well, as Al & Harriet's Amazeen Chilli was still piping hot on arrival... will do our best to get 4 pitches next year for stall + all the vans together... so that Andy's Veggie Chilli wouldn't have needed reheating on arrival... but well rescued
Photos and visitor lists to follow..
Thanks EveryOne
PS. Did anyone else notice that the T2 Owners Club held their AGM there last weekend too... !
