it may be worth asking if roger has fitted his yet as he had the second set, and they could be used as a template too work from?

Baxter was working on these too, but haven't heard any more since last open day when he had a first sample available for critique

Is there actually an alternative to ball joint spacers for increasing camber. Anyone out theresell a modified a-arm to replace the stock one?

If someone's got a pattern? Come to think of it a pukka balljoint (to work out the correct "fit") and the required thickness would be enough at a push. I can sort it, not a biggie, but don't want to step on Mr B's toes...

Theres quite a few designs knocking about, they are a fairly serious mod, but better than the ball-joint meeting its max deflection, if you are going to raise that much.

Cheers for the link. The burley upper a-arms look like a pretty sweet mod but can see why people are tempted by the spacers. just a slight price difference.

Really not keen on the joints on those burley arms. Even with a boot over them I could see them getting destroyed in no time with UK muddy conditions.

Correct. They are the sort of 'spherical rod end bearing' that we all used in Formula Ford and the like. Known as 'Rose Joints', they would last a season if you were lucky. Those top arms look lovely and are very adjustable but you'd feel every bump being transmitted through them as there is no compliance at all in them. You'd be changing them every few months!

I have been informed that some spacers are now winging their way to me for copying, to further the cause of suspension-lifters everywhere!
