Yeah, it's black, I just looked it up. :rollin .

As you know, I've only stripped a WBX, it's not yet in the process of reassembly, I was more thinking of the head bolts rather than the full rebuild, so not yet fully familiar with the various flavours of sealing materials for a WBX.

What's the black packet of Dirko stuff in the first stash of bits Stu posted - I assumed you had seen that but it wasn't Dirko S, or is it ?

That multipack says Dirko not Dirko S ( which comes with Elring gasket sets)

there are lots of Dirko varities.

Reinzosil is another possabilty comes with VR gasket sets

I have done some more reading.

Dirko S is good to 300 degrees C isn't it ?

There's a "black" plain Dirko that's good to 180 degrees C, but it seems that the black product in the multipack is Dirko S, but packaged as "Black +300 C"

http://www.wilmink.nl/elring/elring_vlo ... kingen.pdf

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ELRING-Dirko ... 3120217179

Does that make sense, as I see that Stu's three pack has a black package with the red bar that I assume says +300 on it, but the picture isn't clear enough ?

yellow for head nuts
curil T for case halves
Dirko HT not really needed but oil.pump nuts and oil strainer can be sealed with this if you need.
Dirko S or Reinzosil for heads

Duno if that Dirko is the same, who knows what the S means?
