Peer pressure is a terrible thing...
@Mr Mule, I've always got an SWR meter in the glove box, need to sort mine as it went from Crystal Palace wattage to crystal set overnight

Cheers Ian.
Perhaps you might comment on why this wont work?

Poor earth return through mirror screws and door hinges would be my guess. I drilled a hole in the middle of the dented roof as the headlining was already holed, and scraped the glue and paint off the inside to get a good contact...

More info in the wiki would be a start. The last thread has a fair bit in it.

Here is a link to a map showing where the campsite is:
http://www.club80-90syncro.co.uk/pics/devon_map.jpg
It's not too difficult to find, but easy to shoot past. If you find yourself in the village of Kentisbeare then you have gone too far!
Directions: M5 J28 follow the directions towards Honiton. Travel on this road for approx 1 mile turn left towards Kentisbeare and the site is approx. 200 yds on the righthand side. (Just passed a pull-in which sometimes is used to store gravel)
The address is: Postwood Gardens, Postcross, Kentisbeare, Cullumpton, Devon, EX15 2BS

Do I need to book with the campsite, or through Syncronauts?

No need to book the campsite, we have an arrangement with the owner for the first weekend in August.
