Neil, are yours attached to the wishbone using a nut and bolt rather than a longer version of the M10 bolt.
I decided to go the nut and bolt route, nut on top - I found assembly easier.

mine have a allen key head (as per the vw ball joint bolts) and i decided to install this on top of the wish bone as the ball joint is threaded and then add the nut below the ball joint . it was a bit of a fiddle as you only have very limited access to tighten the nut up with a 17mm spanner , i look at the nut as an insurance policy. but they came with the spacers.

AL. Got mine of baxter when I had the avo's. Must be coming up to a year now. They allowed a fair bit more travel on extension. I was getting the top arm hitting the spring at normal sag levels. I still get a little interference now but with the longer shocks there's a fair bit more sag. Smaller diameter springs would be nice to try and I will get around to trying one day.

Great idea for lifted syncros. How much extra camber adjustment can one achieve. I have lifted my syncros front end 2" and am at absolute max camber adjustment. Could I add these spacers and lift the suspension another inch and still bring things back into spec?

talk to stuart, he is very helpful, i was very lucky that his sister was visiting him at the time when i called, she lives near heathrow, so she bought me back 2 sets and i paid her, avoiding the inport duty and the postage, they cost me £70 i think from memory per set including the nuts and bolts, may be worth asking him if this could be done again? as an alturnative i know some people in sa that could forward on the parts if they were shiped to them but i dont know if this would avoid the tax if they were to post them, but they will be visting soon when my brother gets married (if they ever set the date),
