and apart from what must be a very throaty bellow when under power, has it made any difference noticeable from the cab, as in the seat pushing you in the back more/less.
the flexi bit does help, it now follows the line of the engine mounting bar far better than the origainal.
Low end power feels the same, mid range is much better, top end slightly better. This could also be down to improved air intake into turbo. Top end power still needs attention which i hoped the air intake would of sorted.
It sounds good at full throttle.

Now you need to get some Video footage up on the web, I would really like to hear what they sound like.
The butt joint Band clamps do make the joints much more simple and they seal & hold the tube solid.
Top Job!!!!

When i first looked at the clamp i did not think it would be air tight, i was wrong it is excellent.
Video footage maybe a problem, i can't do normal pics.

Thats been worthwhile then... just wondering if even that K24 ? is running out of a bit of puff at high revs, the turbine starting to choke a bit, or just still not enough fuel

I do not think its the turbo, it gets to 1.6 bar at about 2500rpm and holds it all the way, but it won't go any higher, its like its regulated to 1.6bar. The egts are around 700-750 at full throttle so i am now thinking its not getting enough fuel.
I have that k26 to make a hybrid if it is the turbo, would be a big job to fit though.

The fairies are probably interrupting the signal, definitely not on the same wavelength as Orange

Certainly looks miles better than mine..
Must try a TIG - I have always found that my (bargain basement) MIG will only sustain a decent arc (ie enough power for reasonable penetration) if the wire feed is set rather high so you get an untidy bead, mind you cack handedness and lack of prctice coud well be the problem. I did find pipes with belled out ends easier to use though as the exhaust has to thread through the towbar and engine mounts and this made 'cut and try' easier.

Well, all thats great encouragement for us here who previously wouldn't have taken any welder to any bit of new pipework, let alone stainless- thanks.
I might go for the swaged ends too, rather than butt weld the whole thing - when I get a round tuit of course.

There's a wee trick - No. 1
don't put spaces in your pic names, and if you do, you need to know the trick
