Enjoyed reading this thread. Just in the process of trying to resurrect a heater I have purchased second hand. Nice to know I can reference this in times of need :D

OK the pump arrived (many thanks steve8090  )

I had some time today so I have fitted it an the heater ran fine   Went out for a drive, came home and still running well

So the next test will be a nights camping at Cliff House camp site, it has steps down to the beach and you can walk along the beach for a tasty meal at the Ship in Dunwich, hopefully we shall be toasty. I will pop another post up after we have time for this.

A BIG THANK YOU to all the people who helped & advised on this thread. On my first camper I took the eber off thinking it was kaput, I never even thought to try and repair it. So the moral of the story is don't sling your eber away and get on 80-90 fr some excellent help & advice.

Brilliant thread.

I've just bought what I think is a B2l (Petrol, 2500W) on Ebay for a tenner!

I have little doubt it needs a lot of work, the other case is rusty for starters and i am sure the internals will need rewiring and cleaning, btu this is a project rather than a necessity. We haven't had any heating in a van yet but it's always been on the 'someday' list.

That'll be a good one - they are only 2300W to start with! Is it turbo-charged? :rofl

No idea. Just going on the ID plate which clearly states 2500W

Bargain find  Im about to start this job again soon as I have another westy ebber to refurb & test, I'm glad I wrote the thread or I'd be starting from scratch again (failing memory cells)

Here is the Eber in question. As can be seen the #plate clearly identifies it as 2500W unit, though like you I can't seem to find one anywhere? misprunt?

The ID number ending #901 above seems to identify it as a 79-80 model from a Mosaik/Joker according to the manual.

I'm not sure what all the parts are yet or if it's all there. It won't be going in a Westy and ideally it would be an underfloor fit.
