Me too!
Should make a convoy. Especially because I've no idea where I'm going!

Looks like we won't make it, the tired starter has failed and the chances of locating and fitting one in time are slim (petrol)
Could be worse, it could have failed up a Welsh mountain !!!!

I might have one in the shed. If so, I'll bring it with me for you on Saturday. I've not swapped one myself, but heard they are a pain on petrol vans.

These Starters are like buses . . . .
Ok, so I booked a while back - what now? Am I expecting something in the post? Do I (or should I) have to pay in advance ?
Just wondering. New to all this.

Thanks Pete and Aidan, I guess my best bet is if Patrick has one I've got time to fit it for the weekend.

Patrick dropped a starter off today

So if it checks out ok, after fitting it and a new bush I may make after all

Is it worth coming with no diff locks working, Can I get lpg somewhere near? The beast isnt running well on petrol and is a bit lumpy on lpg as well, but it would be good to meet all the newer Syncronaughts, I only know a handful and not sure if they will be there?

Yes.. even without difflocks its possible to get about.. Got reasonable tyres on???
And some Syncro instruction is on hand...
LPG is at four crosses.. OR.. at Shrewsbury... hang a left for Ford (last roundabout around the A5 ring) and about a mile down there the garage used to do LPG...
We can take a look at the install and see if we cant make it run a bit better too....
