well its not the end of the world, you can get out within reason breraking it, time etc,i would have been happier paying 3-350 to break,
i dont think id be falling out with her but the fact that she sold it as a westie and you didnt kn ow it wasnnt is like 6 of 1 and well you know the rest , plat it by ear but whilst i could return it to pristine order (bodily) i would refuse on the grounds that it would be an utter waste of effort and ££,,so what now

Daffy's right..
There's some cherry parts on the engine alone ..you just need to be told what they are.
The engine is a £250 to £350 lump of metal as it's a runner and can be heard I would go high.
it'll be picked to the bones...but you must be patient and realise the process will be a longish one

You aren't an easy man to please Keith. Surely this thread has given a little entertainment along the way?

My second

guess was correct. Does that count? Incidentally I paid £400 for a scrapper around 3 years ago. A hitop though. I took the interior out and sold the rest after I broke it. I actually made £600 in parts.

If it was a Diesel it would be faster parked than driven
Do you really want to go to all the bother of breaking it though?? As you have not paid any cash just back out and explain that it's not a real westfailure and look for another
