EHIC will cover medical treatment that is provided by the government free/cost by the country you are in.

Basicaly an EHIC will get you basic treatment, it won't get you repatriated.

I am just thinking what if...

the competition in rally raid average time was approx 10 hours in total stage driving over 3 days so not particularly that bad
http://www.rallye-breslau.com/fce/001/0 ... CAR_CC.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The extreme is a whole different game regards hours on stages :shock: some stages taking up to 36 hrs!!!

Vehicles wise seems to be mixture of landys toyotas Nissan patrols mercs and a few mitsubishis although I'm sure they are all modified to hell

On another note just found the Baja 300 Jaeger has done it. Also there is a class for under 2l engines mainly suzukis

Sounds logistcally better and not too far to walk home if something drastic happens..

yep might be the way to go and 2 support vehicles are allowed and it doesn't seem to state that there is any additional cost

I think when jaeger entered he was running a 2.5tdi so would have been in the over 2l class, so do reckon we could give the suzukis a run for their money :wink:
I think for me the Baja 300 looks like a much better option than Breslau in terms of expense and it being a good taster considering no one really has done this before so it gets my vote what do other peeps think ?

"Forget finishing first, first you must finish" as the saying goes!

Don't reach too high for your first event, there will be plenty of entrants who will be very experienced in this type of thing. Better to go for a moderate event, prepare well (read the regs very thoroughly) and hope to at least complete it in one piece: that means you as well as the wagons!

I think the navigattion will be one of the big things for all of these events IMHO. I think though we have to start the ball rolling regards to this quite soon as if we are going to do this. so who is for the baja 300 as opposed to the breslau?

The BAJA300 is nearly on my door step - 81km away to be precise.
