Roger, you are of course more than welcome. So much so you don't even need an invite. (even if you are 5 miles the other side of the river )
Im sorry if you hadn't seen the thread, however it would've been a bit far to drive for the amount of offroading we managed. We really only got out for a couple of hours.
Next time i think we'll have discovered more places to go so will be far more worthwhile.

Al, only saw this last night and missed the first 3 pages!? I was away when this thread started and wasnt getting grumpy, honest, next time I will be up for coming along but engine on single cab is dead at the moment anyway, now awaiting fitting of the audi 5 pot.
If anyone is interested for parts the 2.1DJ AND ALL ANCILLARIES are up for grabs,it starts and runs but think the rings are shot, as it is burning as much oil as petrol at present.

re Tim/Rollercoaster Syncrospares S/A red caravelle.
I remember this vehicle,it was advertised on ebay on classified but didn't sell so he put it on auction which I was the highest bidder up to the last 5 seconds when I was outbid!!! Funnily enough next day it was relisted on classified as the winning bidder didn't turn up!!!!???? I hope the van turns out well for you but at the time I thought the situation was a bit "smelly" Good luck and best regards Baz.

Yes I know what you mean.
I watched it without bidding, and went there to buy it in person later.
By rights it should have been yours then at the reasonable price it made at auction.
You would have saved me a fortune!
