sorry dont mean to hijack the thread but noticed this number is wolverhampton....which isnt a million miles from me.

I was looking for someone to advise on whether my bus's rust spots were treatable or what i could do to bring the whole bodywork up to a better standard than it is currently... are these people the guys to talk to ?

:)

restoration is not these guys thing mate.
but for a good cheap tidy up of the paintwork ...they are the ones in wolverhampton.

to stop rust coming back permanantly you would have to consider surgery.

I had mine done by them and now, 4 yrs on, the seam rust is beggining to come back.

arrgh...

i have some areas where the rust has worked through (small amount on wheel arch) other areas it looks fairly much surface coverings 9 i scraped a bit with my nail and it flakes and underneath seems ok...

i was going to start with my local garage and see if they knew anyone who could do a bodywork overhaul for me and then do a re-spray.

:)

Hi Rich, can you tell me how the paint is split colour wise inside? As I've put similar colours on mine 5 years ago but never striped it down, so I got over spray within the door shuts (you only see it when you open the door :) ) Next year she deserves another coat and want to strip her this time

really nice job,

Is it really four years on already since you had the van resprayed?

I remember the pics of the process.
