We have made it to dakhla in western sahara. replaced a water hose today, and now relaxing for a couple of days before haeding into the sahara. All good but morocan keyboard is really difficult. Off to buy camel for dinner.

Make sure you get lots of chilli sauce with it, tough as old barstewards it is.

I was at the beggining of this year in a rally (Africa Race, driving a truck) from Marseille to Dakar, we stopped near Dackla in a petrol station, and I met an english girl who was there with a VW Camper living in that area with his german boyfriend for 3 months at that time, they loved the place and stayed there. Africa is really a very beautiful place to drive, enjoy, and please if you have a blog or something with pics, tell us!

Just done that trip - watch out for the Senegalse boder rip offs - they charged us around 200 euros to get out of mauri and in to Senegal

Cheaper fuel in Mauri compared to senegal and much cheaper in western sahara but they dont like you taking in gerry cans

We had the standard dip/typoid/tetinus, polio free from the docs and yellow fever 42 quid. But was never saked for a certs when crossing borders

I hope that helps

PS I have a lot of info on border crossing costs, visas and petrol costs if you need them
