Don't know how all you folks with genuine and replic VW whell carriers carry there bikes as well.
Well this is how I carry my spare on my bike rack.
Not pretty but it fits.

You might just want a decent padlock and 16mm chain on those...

Just got back from a 3 week trip to France 2K miles no problems,
Except for a front suspension squeek that drove me nuts.
Seem to be coming from the nearside suspension. It sounded like a metalic squeek.
Maybe wishbone bushes, didn't squeek before Baxter did the tracking.
Will investigate. Any Ideas.
also may need an oil cooler, saw 130 c on temp gauge whilst on motorway.
oil temp stays around 100 c on A roads doing 60mph.
Creeps up on motorway when fully laden especially hills.
Always drive as fast as she will go. Not very fast !

Top suspension arm bushes are knackered! One of Baxter's pet squeaks obviously escaped and now lives in your top wishbone!

Yes, fit an oil cooler and throw away the oil temp gauge

Top bushes new !
are there different thickness washers you can fit.
Maybe Baxter didn't tighten them enough.
He's a bit Gay, needs power steering.

Nice to see the awning in use
Looks like you've been busy on the van as well. It's been transformed! So when's the loverly new paint going on?
PS: Are you sure that bike rack is rated for spare wheels! (50Kg max

)
