Take up the invites.. most are pretty friendly and those that may come accross a bit "abrasive" on here... apparently are not in real life.. ..

My sister in law has just bought a Volvo, she also has two Rangies, an 88 inch hybrid and a 2 litre Suzuki.

If its just for laning or as a toy on a limited budget then the classic Rangie is the way to go.......£500 will get you something pretty useable. Horses for courses I suppose, if you want a single vehicle to use as a van/amper with the odd bit of offroading then the syncro I would imagine be the best bet, If, like me, your 4X4 spends over 80% of its life off road (can never see the point of buying an offroader for it to spend all its time on the road) then one of Solihul's products would probably be better suited.

I must admit I do personaly prefer the axle articulation as compared to difflocks, just personal preference. I am one of the ones who likes to take a leisurely pace rather than having to charge at things.....thats just me, others prefer charging around in the mud.

I have always fancied a Bowler myself, but money wont stretch that far unfortunately.
