I have been talking to Ali on private message in addition to on these main pages.
I have been trying to write words in a manner that Google Translate can work best with. I hope this helps and is good.
Also I think it very good that the Internet and the people on club 80-90 can help people from very different part of the world. And help people who do not speak our language. In the UK many of the people are not good at speaking another language. I think Google translate is the only help we have when communicating to Ali.
Ali, Heater Plugs. Yes, as far as I understand (I have little knowledge of Diesel) all 1.6 Diesel engines have heater plugs fitted.

The Euro emissions standards did not apply to these engines when they were fitted to our vans as the standards didn't start until 1993. If an engine was manufactured later than 1993 for another vehicle it would most probably fall into Euro 1 or 2.
Has anyone any links to youtube videos of the 1.6 engine for Ali - I can't find any. (I have been in PM contact with Ali)
Looking at the work that would be involved and the lack of parts in Iran it doesn't seem as though this swap is something that can be done easily and / or without great expense. What do others think?

I agree - I think considering the concerns over lack of power and lack of spare parts avaialable in Iran I would be fixing or putting in another subaru engine + LPG conversion

Thanks Oldiebut goodie and Dyskyplvfsktch
Unfortunately, the use of LPG and CNG is not
Because CNG and LPG cylinders are dangerous ...(Explosions, crashes, etc.)
Also, the gas fueling CNG vehicles will not be allowed (by law, the cars are very old and worn are!)
A question:
Quality "diesel fuel" Iran is very low ...
This fuel will cause problems and damage to the engine, Diesel T-3?
