just had the garage on the phone,
they said its the handbrake adjuster that stuck can nt find a replacement, but that the handbrake is working? so over time could be a problem?
the push rods have to be broken to get the cam followers out?
asked him to put it all in writing for me how he went from doing brakes to the looking at the camshaft.
picking up van tomorrow.

Hopefully this has lost something in translation? If this is what he said, then a visit from Trading Standards is on the cards I would suggest.

Just hope I never need owt doing by them , I might end up having to get my house re roofed. Get your van back and report to appropriate authorities etc sound like a bunch of w@nkers.

What did you actually ask them to do!? Can't see how this goes from please replace my starter to me garage saying he did your brakes and took you engine apart!!

So, what's the final end to this story - van back? Handbrake working?
