This is shocking. Can you not take them to small claims court or something to do with trade description? Even paying by cash should borne a receipt.....

If your looking a decent body shop or mechanic a friend of mine owns his own place, well versed in vw and classics (trained by Morgan) a really car enthusiast too. :ok

If you are going to pursue it, don't let them give you any money back as that could compromise any legal action (by "accepting a settlement").

Yeah never got the remnants back, they got a perfect cab step as they just used a little of it round the fuel filler!! I have the ebay pics and ebay proof of purchase for all the panels.

Phone Trading standards, i'm sure they will help you with the information you need. Your van is not fit for purpose and you can claim against the company even if you paid cash. You can give them so many days to rectify the work or take em to court :ok

Lol... well just to put the final nail in the coffin of this terrible story, the advice I was given is that I have to give them the chance to rectify this, but obviously I don't want them touching it, cant look at the guy either without wanting to rearrange his front grill! so the moral of the story? Only go with fully recommended people I guess!
