This is something I've wanted to do on my MV for a while. Thanks for the encouragement to get on with it. Thought I'd try out some of that PlastiDip to spray over the LED strip to try to hide their presence a little more before wiring them in. Hopefully it being rubber will prevent any inevitable cracking. Used some of those hemispherical kitchen door bumpers over the LEDs, sprayed it up, then removed. Didnt come out too shabby I like the ally bracket for the Syncro.

I have always wanted to get some of that PlastiDip and try it on something. Great work. I love fabricating stuff, much more rewarding than buying stuff.
Since fitting my LED's about a year ago they have survived 7000 miles with no problems. I did stick the aluminium plate down with a bit of sika flex as I did bend on back a little reversing on a lane.
The LED's are all still bright, and I am very pleased with the increases in illumination when lane changing on the motorway. People really do seem to take more notice and give me more room, better at junctions too.
I am a big fan of being seen, the Escorial Green hightop syncro does that nicely in the daytime, and the LED's do it for me at night.
Had my first bulb blow on the syncro, left inner spot. Suspect that 14.8v of Sterling regulated power was too much for a 10yr plus old bulb.
