could it be warped heads ?
i replaced the sleeve seals and head gaskets . all clean and looking normal.
do i need to take to a garage for the test?
should i eliminate the pipes first to see if there is a blockage .
is it possible that one of the sleeves could be cracked ?

yes unless you have a spare £70 to buy the tester - see ebay co tester

heads rarely warp on wbx, the seal is that compressible metal gasket that goes ontop of liners against head recesses, heads need to be well smooth, no dents, scratches etc from scraping off the carbon deposits

Well update on the heating issue. After replacing water pump and fitting a new expansio tank.
Had drivine roughly 200 miles with out a problem and temp showing less then halve.
Van started running lumpy. So altered timing a little. And now back to over heating. Put timing back
And can get a run of 80 miles then loses water thru the second bottle but temp still low.
Won't do hills very well as does lose water and over heats :(

sounds like a products of combustion in the coolant, a sniff test will confirm, a leak down test should isolate which head if only one

Will look into get a test done. Still strange I thought. After the heating up issue.
Did the normal bleed the system. Turned timing back a little. Then drove around for roughly 2 hours.
Did a little bit of off roading and fine again. :s
