No! syncros aren't that common, sell it and buy a normal van for lowering.

If you think syncros are not common you ought to take a walk around Brighton bezilliuons of them here oh and many more "normal ones" too

No seriously mate, dont lower your syncro. Aside from anything else youll just have loads of people telling you you should have gone the opposite direction with the suspension. They look amazing when theyre raised.

Go on, let's have at least one lowered syncro on British roads - it might surprise some people how well it can corner - but do it right
Knock the front down by about 40-45mm and the rear by 25mm for starters - that'll turn into corners nicely then, polybushes all round especially the anti-rollbars and inner wishbone ones. Replace the front radius arm bushes. Then you'd have to trust someone good to tune in the geometry, to get the toe-in and camber about right.
Of course,
after fitting the Subaru 3.3 litre SVX flat 6...

I remember seeing a German one that had been lowered plus an engine swap etc and i think the thinking behind it was that a lowered van that was also a syncro would have some jolly good grip. I'm not justifying that kind of crazy thinking though.

Also I guess Thomas has not seen this or perhaps is still breathing into a paper bag to clear the rage enough so he can type a reply.

No no, I just have a big, fat plate of things at the moment, many of which are more interesting than 8090 or lowering Syncros.
