Okay, Spoken to RAC legal.
The UK courts will not recognize Toll or traffic violations from Europe.
Their UK agents will try & pester but that is all they can do. Unless you return to that country where your Reg may will be picked up, & they couldn't not advise on what would happen then.
Sorry, didn't ask about speeding.

Sorry haven't got back sooner but was talking to a local Gardai, Irish police, and he informed me that as of last month penalty points recieved throughout europe are being transferred to residential licences due to the homogenisation of licences throught europe and to stop foreigners treating the rest of europe as their own Le Mans track there so I'm stuck with 3 points

just my luck but at least the last ones have expired !

Wachtendonk is just up the Wankumer Strasse from the village of Wankum
still holding out here in the hope that the camera that zapped Clive, me and others on the drive up was off duty or something!

Wankum is just over the border from Belgium nr. Duisburg.
You guys were probably speeding through a road works.
500 yoyos is a bit steep though.
I paid 25 yoyos for 66 in a 50 last time.

With the tolerance factor taken in to consideration you were doing 126 in a 100 zone.
Anything more than 20 k over the limit and they give you a kicking - you've been kicked.

Alan! I would suggest removing your personal details asap. You have full address and d.o.b. Etc fully visible. Quite a lot of f@ckwits cruise forums on the off chance... Regards, Matt

Been doing a bit of research
So as to date: points are not applicable and will not be endorsed on a UK licence as said by dvla and police.
Fine: This if not paid will be 'sold' to a debt recovery agency, again this makes it a civil matter and not a criminal matter, recovery of the fine is from small minded gorillas and then they can't co anything until it has been to court - other than send threatening, misleading letters.
Finding out who the owner of the vehicle is, when the offence took place is easy - and not costly - how do private car parking companies fine car parkers? Simple contact with dvla and details so shouldn't really be endorsed on a fine for a foreign driver.
As for the current german speeding fine letters it has been suggested that: ask for letter in english as not sure what it is about and ask for the photo, they don't send them out if there is a passenger detected but you can ask for it.
Where on the letters does it say pay by such and such a date?
