Morning

So I took it in to The Beetle Emporium in Holloway (20 years doing campers and beetles apparently - anyone ever heard of them? They seem pretty good) and it seems to be the breather hose between the two expansion tanks that needs replacing. Hopefully this can be done without dropping the tank.

And when I get it back and get a spare weekend, I'll be replacing the fuel hoses as you kind people have suggested.

Thanks so much for all your posts.

I presume they mean the thicker pipe that goes between the two Y connectors as there isn't a direct connection between the expansion tanks. Its possible to reach the ends of the thick pipe from the wheel arches (dependant on the girth/length of your arms) but wether they can route it in and reconnect it without dropping the tank is another thing.

Good luck.
