I agree with Binka - my van use is mainly festivals - and the indoor loo option was one of the first purchases. I got this Dometic small unit from Camperlands.

It is small enough to sit under the R&R bed next to sink and out of site - great piece of kit and it has paid for itself -in kind - many times over...

I'm leaning towards the portable bogs now, I spent last weekend wild camping in an old quarry.
We had to use the woods (known here as Waldkacken) and had my backside savaged by mossies at every sitting.
I'm thinking of getting a loo tent for our portipotti, ideally the tent should have a window for views whilst nipping a log off.

Our wild camping toilet is a solid wood toilet seat with three fold out legs.

Same here, but ours isn't secure, that might be an idea on second thoughts! What's particularly enjoyable is allowing people to sit on it whist hiding a private smile :)

We also use ours as a coffee table... very handy!
