Might just see how syncropendance goes (if I get there and in what/don't get barred/if the syncro bug bites hard) and if the family expo to Kernow goes ok...

Hi Everybody,
Before anybody else adds their name to the list, would they please let myself or Doug know if they plan taking their van out into the lanes with us this weekend as we will have difficulty in keeping a convoy of more than five vans in one group as it gets very difficult keeping everyone together.
We had planned to run two groups anyway but we wouldnt want to dissapoint anyone who is hoping to take their van out.
If anyone is proposing to share their van with someone please also let us know.
Thanks
Roger

Yes thanks Roger for the reminder..

It looks like we have met our limit for the campsite now...

We do need to know who is driving and who is hoping to cadge a lift along the lanes because their Syncro is too fluffy...

Perhaps Roger or Doug you could give a short precis of the lanes, and whether serious nasties can be driven around OK (i.e. skipping)

Thanks

I am planning to do a booking form for Devon which will go up in a few days and take a deposit too, so we definitely know who is coming.

I'll wait for the booking form as Syncropendence was so much fun :D
If the Shonkro has got a carb, no nasty noises, mot, tax, CB...will I need big tyres or will I be able to get away with 185R14C's ?
Not scared of branches and brambles :ok

185R14C's

They'll do for now, can always pull you through the odd spot if it gets bogged down :)

Worth putting some cheap 15s on eventually, Mercs or Mefros...

Anything to go for or avoid like the plague?
I don't intend to do desperate mud-plugging... all-rounders are a compromise, I know.
I will check the security of the recovery eyes too

Ian, next time YOU can put the wire back on my starter! as it fell orf whilst you were abusing my truck
wotabugger that was to put back on.
If you want I could bring my spare Merc steels with me for you to borrow but you will need 10mm spacers, They have AT,s on at the moment,225/70 x15 Wranglers but they would do for the lanes.

 and jolly good fun it was. I'll practice starter cable fitting at home then! I thought I had that climb on second attempt too...Neil has just offered me 5 x Colway 195/75/15's with plenty of even tread. Need rims though...
