Anyone with tinted rear windows had any issues with the suckers on thermal blinds pulling the film off?

I have the film ready to do our van but we use theJK thermal blinds with suckers attaching them to the inside of the windows, when we camp.

my gut feeling is the suckers will pull the film off when taking them off in the mornings.

we have film applied to all windows and have not had a problem with the suckers. Assuming the film is applied without massive air bubbles the suction from the suckers would have to be tremendous to create a vacuum and lift the film.

Quick question for those with tinted windows; Do you have any regrets going dark? i.e. it's rubbish sitting in and not being able to see out!

Mine are tinted and I like them that way. No problem looking out at all.. Just looking in!!

Just to add to that we have dogs and when travelling I think it keeps them cooler, I also feel it might protect the fabric of the interior a bit from sun... Not that we have an excess! Cab isn't tinted obviously.

Only problem with my tinted windows is the side sliding windows has a tendency to peel the film away. (Sorry for replying in 3 posts)

No no, definitely not hotter it's cooler.

Smosh, it doesn't realy affect the view out but does cut down on what you can see looking in . Does make it a tad cooler.

Here's two photos (not the best as parked on the drive). It's sunny here today. The cab windows aren't tinted at all just original factory glass. They're a bit dirty as done over 1000 miles recently to cornwall and back and not washed it yet! The tint is fine looking out, it just makes looking in harder!

I could be very tempted by mirrored tint like police dog vehicles have.
Not sure if there are any rules about that with regard to reflecting headlights or not.

Easy to fit yourself or will you always end up with bubbles in it? Anyone recommend some tint?

Mine came off ebay , don't think I've still got the details cost around £20 for the whole van . Don't tint your windscreen, drivers or passenger window or you'll get done

Na, not worried about front end; going to try and make a curtain to separate the cab. Was it easy to do Dazco? Someone has mentioned Ceramic window tint is the way to go?!

Also, How dark have you gone?

I had Limo tint (darkest at the time) on my T4 side and rear windows. Made a real benefit to the looks of the van and the comfort inside. Privacy inside (when it's lighter outside of course) and a definate effect on keeping temperature down.

I tried myself first, found it very tricky, messed up a couple of times, could not get all lines out of it. Looks bloody terrible when you see tinted windows with creases in them

I think the glass on the T25 is much flatter than the T4 so it could be easier ti DIY. I'd like the Syncro done but sliders in the side and the rear window glass needs replacing as it has grinding spots all over the place (inside and out!!!)
