Hi,
What type of poles are used for the hammock? We are considering this idea for our camping trip on monday (yes, monday coming up!! oops) and need to get some brackets and poles.
Hoping for some tips!

You can use thick wardrobe pole but we found the thick aerial mast pole at b&q sufficient for our bunk. Obviously depending on what weight is going to be sleeping on it!!

We have successfully made our first T25 Hammock. Thanks for all those who posted their experiences on here. From your stories we have been able to build this one and our now making a base to go over the front seats for his 5 month old brother.

Spent today looking at plastic pipe and fittings and while cheap enough, I still had to find fabric AND sew it and wasn't confident it could take the weight of my five year old. Found some mini hammocks on ebay tonight (about £7) which I figure I could run through doors like above and once I work out tension needed, just tie big knots outside. Just an idea anyway.

Harry's bunk is made from thickish cotton, doubled over and it'll still take his weight at age 13 (not sure how much he weighs) the 2" wardrobe poles have a little give in them but with the depth of the brackets this has never been an issue
