An ignition timing that is slightly too far advanced can cause that starting symptom of hesitating. Might be an idea to check it, just to be sure.

We had the home tune guy sort all that out for us when we first got the van. I cant find the report he wrote out for us at the end but Im sure he said something about the cranking voltage wasnt right, If that means anything??? :? I may be wrong.

This morning I Have checked the voltage of the battery when I turn the igntion key (not actually starting the van) and the voltage reads 11.5v
When I turn the igntion off the voltage is reading 12.4v. This is the same with the leisure battery :?

Something is def not right. Have had a quick look at the starter motor and the connections look ok though havent removed them from the solenoid yet.

Ok found a bit of the greeny blue corrosion on the back of one of the starter spade connections. Gave it a real good clean up. Gonna put the battery back on charge and see how we get on :?
