in the previous tiny photos i sent the yop pic is the pump. not a hole in sight!! even if there were, wouldnt be able to see the pump body...theres a bloody stupid tin plate in the way. i wonder what the plate is for?? to p1ss people off no doubt

The top picture looks very much like this:-
If it is, then it looks an awful lot like a Lucas pump. This one is set at TDC no 1 cylinder. The bolt goes through the flange into the pump body. I've added blobs of tippex too, to make life easier.
What is the engine number? Stamped on the flat bit on the block below injectors 3&4.
