I have the mounting points both sides for a 3 point seat belt but the issue is that one side will be covered with the furniture units so the seat belt fixing point will not be accessible. A lap belt is no good as they are not safe, especially with young kids

I have just done this job, fitted 2 x 3 point belts into back using original vw caravelle fittings. The side with the wardrobe/furniture on I just cut a oval hole in the front of wardrobe just above where the seat back comes too and threaded the belt through there. Works ok, may not be best solution but at least the kids stand half a chance in any accident.

Advice: go and find your local seat belt manufacturer. Maybe I'm lucky, but I have one just a couple of miles away in West Byfleet called FTDS. They supply the likes of Aston Martin! Cost-wise, there's nothing in it and you get a choice of colours if you want...
Get some belts made up with an extension piece for the top anchor point. They do exist.[quote="simple] I have just done this job, fitted 2 x 3 point belts into back using original vw caravelle fittings. Sounds ok to me. If you're in a crash - enough for the belt to spoil the wardrobe - with that alteration, you've got bigger things to worry about. Drive safe folks.

Just searching old threads and quoting Willard's post to try and mend the links to the pics.
