i have an idea .. instead of sound deadening, how about sound awakening?!
i will some a kind of funnel and echo chamber, and huge amplification equipment, with speakers pointing outside the windows of the bus.
therefore, this can amplify any resonance and boingy wobble board rolf harris sounds from the metal panels to around 2000 dB, surely enough to shatter the windows of passing cars and fine bone china.
i am planning on unveiling my creation soon on a local tour de force, on 12am on a sunday night coming soon ..

2000 dB
That would no doubt kill everybody within a mile or two, dB being a logarithmic scale (every 3dB being a
doubling of pressure level)

Awesome is a bit of an over-used word... but that Saturday's lanes
were awesome - to us anyway, some you'd have a job getting a horse along let alone a vehicle

Unfortunately most are now not driveable
This was the Doka and Sika only route, CJ and SB leading, SyncroPete and Muna in the middle and us taking up the rear, Pete's Golf petrol powered Syncro Doka now being unfortunately defunct. You can see Terry's camper leading the shiney route convoy, they had a really great time too.

hi, which angle do u mean?
i need a better pic without the carpet really. The factory fitted is only on the "angle" where the bench would be.

The factory fitted is only on the "angle" where the bench would be.
That's what I mean, I put some Dämmungs Matte that I got online on there and then thermo insulated with Thermo-wrap.
If I were to do it again I would (for this area and the above engine only) use xTreme Isolator foam.

Hi mate.
I have just been insulating and panneling my new panel van conversion this weekend.it was a bare skeleton
I have used 4 sheets of 6mm ply 2440x1220 from wickes to do the floor, sides
1 box of screwfix rsr 3x16 selfdrill screws
2 sheets of 3mm hardboard 2440x1220 to panel the roof
2 cans 90 degree heat ressistant spray glue
4 rolls of therma wrap cut and glued and stuffed into every cavity, roof and floor
have also bought
1 roll 5mtr x 1370 white vinyl
1 roll 5mtr x 1370 black vinyl
white vinyl strips glued to braces covered by covered white panels on roof
black and white vinyl stitched then glued full length of driver side with trim to tidy ends
enough vinyl left to cover seats (full width r&r) and bottom kick board on seat.
will try and grab some pix and post dimensions if you want.
it was great fun so good luck and take the plunge
