i had a bed in my doka, went about it in a slightly different way, my doka had a bench seat, i made it fold flat onto the rear seat 3/4 width, but full length, brilliant! nice work tho jed!

Looks good Jed - it looks like it'll be worktruck, office and bedroom all in one (and living room once the swivels are in!) You won't need a house anymore!

Now that you got a bed, why not take a bit of your flatbed space and add a cooker/sink in the back like the teardrop campers do:

And inside a small double hob, a small sink (will need a hole through your flatbed) with water tank and a top-loading 12v fridge.

Man, all this is making me think of buying my own Doppel Kabine !!

Great idea those things but to be honest a syncro is much higher than a 2wd van and to stand next to it on the load bed you wouldnt even be able to see inside the unit. I have just bought this too for warmer evenings and we can have a shower also

Just make sure you've emptied your bladder before turning in - or I suppose could just aim a well directed jet whilst standing at the tent door!
