right, got the new brake master cylinder in and the spare hole plugged nicely... managed to bleed the rear brakes but no joy on the front... the bleed nuts are both corroded and i couldn't get em free, it's raining and cold too which doesn't help!

think i need some rust killer and a small set of mole grips, and some patience as I already started to round off the nut on the drivers side when I was losing my rag with it... why make the nut so small??!! It takes a 7mm spanner, it's a pain is the @rse i tell ya.

To answer Beti Frio - if the brake Master cylinder is leaking you will not see any fluid leaking from it as it is sealed to the servo and the fluid goes into the servo. Any leaking will be from the bottom of the servo. Quite how it gets out of a sealed space I am not sure, but mine did. Only a little bit though, the rest was IN the servo.

trundltruc, i agree that most of the leaking fluid gets dumped into the servo (need a syringe and silicon tube to suck it out) but on mine i could see it coming out of the cylinder itself, it was running down the front of the servo and the paint had began to bubble...
