I didn't feel secure either in a theft way or a safety way, it looks weird, and interferes with the sliding door, on mine anyway.

Could the Caravanstore be used on a tin-top, with suitable awning rail?
Towsure sell awning rail but I'm not sure if it would work with a tin-top:

"Comes complete with self-tapping screws. Creates a totally waterproof seal between the caravan/motorhome or rail. Self adhesive backing, to hold rail securely in place whilst positioning and screwing for ease of fitting." (copied from Towsure).

Hi Deke. I live in Kenilworth and get down to London area fairly regularly, if it will go in a Seat Alhambra. I can drop off for you if you buy from CAK.

Thanks Grand tourer but I've gone ahead already but your offer is most appreciated. What a friendly and helpful site this is? Deke.

I've just ordered one of these:

£70 delivered, pole-and-clamp so no need to drill into the tin.
Anyone got one?
