My fuel pump has a short ( 3 or 4 inches) earth wire that is fixed to the same area of body that the pump bracket is bolted to, but just below the pump.

Thanks. Does your van have two wires, white and brown/green, going to a T2 connector behind air filter box and by engine bay wall?

And another reason why l did suggest you go Pierburg on your rebuilt 2.1

So easy to fault find compared to fuel injection.

Will keep that to mind, my friend. Cheers
Do you have the relays no 53 from the black box?

Stesaw,
In fact, if you are willing to sell the wiring looms from the two relays that would definately help me out. I got a feeling that is where the issue is coming from. A break in wiring somewhere along the line

This one has dodgy wires on it and it was butchered because it was in a beetle. I doubt the loom itself would have any use aside from having the connectors.

Okay and thanks. Those relay connector may come in handy if one is faulty in my camper.
If you are willing to sell those too, with about 100mm of wire if poss, then PM me with price please.
Regards
Stuart

Not sure but Can check tomorrow as it's parked at a friend's place.
