After recent posts on alternator belts, just checked mine, and not wanting to start a new post hopping onto this one, the belt fitted to my alternator is 10/1080 but I have some new spares two of which are 10/1075 and one 10/1100.  Unable to work out what amperage the alternator is due to lack of markings with only the following visible 321260A1 AND D0141IR any ideas please,

No thanks mate, I'm too tired after driving my alarm-free, light-free, van around

Thanks so much to everyone who took the time to respond, especially Mocki.

No surprise that switch gets knocked out when the belt goes, it's a tight squeeze.

Thought I would add this again so as not to confuse the dialogue of the originators post.  Alternator is visible is this close enough to give an idea of its amperage.

To y what belt is on it now ?
1100 is too long in my experience with a single crank pulley

if your alternator has a plug in the back it’s a 65a if it’s bolt on connections it’s either 65a or 90a
it "should" be a plug in 65a for the age of your cooling system .

Please find attached a couple of images of the alternator connections at the back, looking at the existing belt there are cracks appearing between the teeth which looks like a warning to me.  As per earlier the existing fitted one is 10/1080 but I have good 10/1075 which came with the van as spares.

Yep plug in ( although the plug is long gone and replaced by single spades)
the 10 is it’s width , the 1075 is the length , so that slightly shorter one will work and give you just a added adjustment for when it stretches in the next month or so and needs readjusting .
