Thanks all, I would just have buried my head in my hands without the huge resources held on the forum and the wiki, and the encouragement gained from other members.
Anyone want to buy my late father-in-laws '06 Kia Rio? The van is going to replace that as a daily driver, and I'm delighted, it really is an awful wee car, a td where the turbo doesn't come on song until nearly 3k and runs out of puff (or I run out of nerve) at 4k. Uncomfortable seats, horrid handling, cracked windscreen etc etc. A bargain at £1000!
