The way I look at it is that we are doing the world a favour by keeping these vans going, and in the best nick we can afford.
Like most charity work, the rewards aren't financial, but you can still get a lot of enjoyment from the process.
That's what I keep telling myself anyway.

Do what you like to the van....But most importantly get out there and enjoy it.

Put on latex gloves and a mask, get yourself a dentist's white coat and speak with a German accent. Then the grey Westy interior will feel quite natural

I would keep it Atlantic. Live with it for a time. It's character will probably tell you that.
The things you keep in it and the good times the bus gives you will personalise it enough.
You could do the curtains I suppose. Just keep the originals.
A nice stance ( improves the ride if good quality), and a sexy set of good wheels never harms residue values.

I have owned a Westy for 8 years and people have always said they are increasing in value. I think that is an urban myth created by my fellow Westy owners. Granted they may retain their value but I cannot say I have really seen any increase in value in the last 8 years.
My personal opinion is that you buy a T25 to have fun with not as an investment. in fact given that the concensus is that they cost on average £1k per annum to keep on the road they are a very poor investment.
In fact mine is right hand drive and I have been told by a number of enthusiasts that is very rare but thats not why I bought it. I bought it to go away in and go to music festivals. I dont care how rare it is.
I'm with Kev on this do what you want with it!

If it was me I would keep it stock, and if under duress would only decorate in a reversible manner.
But it's your van so you can do what you want...
Just don't expect me to be anything other than horrified at what you've done.

Thank you everyone! Especially Greasemonkey. I'm gonna use Plastdip for sure now. Found a way to cover the walls and ceiling that will come off..............will post piccies when I have done a bit more to look most amazing!
Have asked for original piccies from previous owner, cos being a plank, I didn't think to take piccies first! Doh!
Curtains are washed and folded away.......seats covered in plastic leather lookey likey. So it's mine, but can revert back. Thank you for all your advice. My surfer ballerina daughter is set to inherit Tink, so she can customise the insides to her liking or revert to the au naturel state.
Thank you again............................................Bertrice Phuttbucket, tinsel trimmer to the coal merchant xxxxxxxxxxxx
