What part is causing the problems ? ,, mine wasn't to much trouble but I'm used to working on them ,,, the whole loom has to come out though the passengers side and pushed though to the engine bay/wing area

I can vouch for Richard's loom. Very tidy, and very easy to fit. Everything is cut exactly to length (with nothing to spare!), and is as plug 'n' play as you can get.

I'll be using his loom conversion, read lots and lots of excellent reviews.
The trouble im having extracting the old one is just down to how much of it there is

Mine was a turbo loom so had even more wires to deal with lol ,, just take your time and unplug eveything and work a bit of the loom though at a time

It takes a while, it's a big old loom and most of it goes in the bin.

If you are using existing gearbox I've got an alignment tool you can borrow..same size as input shaft.

It's a bigger job to get the loom out than the bloody engine

Finaly got the old DG lump out of the van , not an easy job on your own .
Im now about ready to start ordering my conversion parts.
Have any of you replaced the splined gearbox input shaft to enable the use of full subaru clutch and if so how easy or difficult is the shaft to replace. Thanks .
Will be many more questions as I go along im sure. Prety much pooping my pants spending all this dosh on an engine swap .
