Still can't get over that. Four rusty wheels with tyres that barely have any tread left (car tyres by look of it). Of ALL the places in the world you'd think Germany had no shortage of Merc wheels. Insane. They are excellent wheels but don't even consider paying that sort of money. They seem to average about £40 each here (as they are a popular option). I've got two, possibly three available at some point.

Yes, my van has them. You will need the right wheelnuts and bolts, tapered seat rather than ball seat.

If it is a Karmann Gypsy made between 1980 and 1990 then they will fit. But, VW "Pepper Pot" wheels were fitted to a wide variety of VW's so it depends whether these ones are correctly load rated for a T3.

Have you put a "wanted" ad up in here? (and you could put a wanted on here also = http://www.brick-yard.co.uk/forum/wanted_forum6.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; )

Still reckon if you find a set of Carat alloys you will be right ;)

p.s. = there have been some on eBay recently = http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_odkw= ... =&_sacat=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

EBay ad for those wheels states they were on a T25 and are suitably load rated so should be OK.

Just went and checked mine, they're tapered (nuts and seats).
I guess get the wheels and check.

They look like mine but as mine have a VW South Africa part number its not easy to do a direct comparison. Mine are 6x14 with ET30, no spacers. The ones on eBay should have a part number on them, as well as the size and offset.

They look to be identical to mine, that's why I put the link up.
VW made 2 options for the T3 Carrots and Atiwe (pepperpots). Could be others but not sure.
Had mine on a few years no messing with spacers or extended studs and load rated, think I changed the studs from the steel wheel studs.
