Here we go

For the purists - Yes it has to be fitted and if you can find a good one (fabricate etc) by all mean refit

For me - I think it is totally overkill in the UK - Subject to

1) Global Warming - LOL
2) Improved Fuels over the last 30 years
3) Unavailability
4) Factual Information (given by fellow members) that no adverse effects will occur if not fitted
5) I'll think of 5 later

Good idea.
Some of the picture posts made by "established members" do nothing but bear out my Clique complaint.
Troll spray etc etc.

haters gotta hate.

So a group of enthusiasts, professionals, electricians, mechanics and specialist mechanics, who give up their time to help others and have done so for many years, who by other like minded people, have met, formed friendships, argued and debated over points of order, and sometimes never agreeing.. are some sort of psychological barrier that your brain cannot surmount.

I don't think this forum is for you.
Try the brick-yard they don't have cliques or any "club" mentality just a bunch of fellas taking the p*ss out of 80-90 and the rest of the VW community/life that don't fit into their conformity... I think you'll fit right in.

I think all you guy's are missing the point here
Everywhere in life there is a clique
Whether it be immediate family - try calling your best mates mother!
Different football teams etc
I don't consider myself in a clique - And Don't know any of you personally
BUT - I wave when I go past (Just for the Kids - Yes Right )_
And If you were stranded at the side of the road Then I would stop (Possibly Rob You!!) - And I thought this is what the forum is about
The thing we have in common is these old vans

Still can't think of a number 5 reason :D

Dont stand for bullying in any any way shape or form.
Nor should anyone else.

Nobody is doing any bullying - just a matter of difference of opinion

All the comments are tongue in cheek - you have had an invite to the table from Ian

Fetch your chair up - have a beer and chill

Unlike me - Camping in the corner all alone!

You are probably right, and your post gave me a smile.
My point is:
I dont speak to people in a bad way, and I dont bully people.
I expect the same in return.
Simples

I really don't understand how you can be bullied on the internet, it's a difference of opinion that's all :ok
