Thats it, if you move rods back and forth do you get a metal on metal scrapping sound from that bush ? If you dont the bush is ok . Is the rod bent or is it just the photo angle. How long is the relay lever on the gearbox, i know you said the ball bushes had moved up but that one looks short or maybe photo again. Maybe its that knackered lever thats the problem.

I'll check for the scraping sound tomorrow.
I noticed that too, I think it's just the photo making it look bent but ill check that tomorrow too.
I dont think the relay lever is short I can measure it tomorrow. It may just give the impression of being short with the ball bushes not being in the right place.

Been back under the van today. The front bush didn't sound like metal on metal scraping but it wasn't smooth.
I've marked up all the rear linkage and rod positions and removed everything from the clinch bolt back.
I'm going to replace the slide pin, slide pin gator, relay lever and relay lever gator. Also I'm going to shot blast the rear rod itself it's got so much crap all over it.
@Multisi the relay lever is approx 78mm long.
The top ball bush has slid up from its groves position and the bottom one just falls off.
The slide pins bush has fallen apart and is pretty worn. The end of the selector rod that slides on the pin was also full of crap.
The relay lever gator was completely shredded and the pin gator was completely missing.
