Quite sure, it did have an engine rebuild a few years ago that included a rebore, so maybe it's more than a 1.6. I wouldn't have thought that would have made much difference though. It does have a "snake oil" gizmo to boost the fuel (http://www.broquet.co.uk/ that was already on the van when we got her.

I usually cruise nicely at 55 to 60mph, but haven't been brave enough to check the top speed. :run

I've just rebuilt an AAP box with tall5th gear for my AAZ blue star and can now cruise at 70 with only 3000 rpm happy days

My Bluestar also does that easily, i keep the reigns on it because of the mpg. (That and because ive had recently to go to the naughty girl driving school) Ive always let my vans go the speed they want but this one wants to get me into trouble.

I usually cruise with the traffic around 65-70
might be worth checking your speedo though - they aren't the most accurate, on mine when it says 70 my iphone average speed app thingy says 65mph
So quite happily bob up to an indicated 75 without the fear of the scameras and police

The police won't pull you over unless you do a minimum of 77mph because they have to allow for 10% variation in vehicles spedo accuracy. I would say its extremely unlikely to get pulled over for doing anything under 85mph
The police only pull cars from the fast lane because they know all cars in the fast lane are doing 80+, but they will sit in waiting for the 90mph+ offenders, there can't be many t25's that will do 90+! Although when i had Golf Gti's i know a twin engine mk1 that got pulled at 167mph on the run to the sun. Luckily the police didn't have a radar speed and were very keen car enthusiasts.

I got done in my work car, not the van. I dont think you can actually speed on a motorway in one can you? However could get done in a 30/40 area.!
