Maybe a struggle Lee , I worked out that 30mm was the max using standard drive shafts and 944 CV's, you could try and find longer shafts or move the engine and box back a bit but that opens up another can of worms

Dai, have you ever posted a write up on lengthening your trailing arms? I would be interested to see where you chop them and how you extend them. Have you made a jig for doing this?
Have you altered the angle of the spring seat like the Busman ones?

@ DAI. i`ve concidered moveing the engine and box a bit but dont want to unless i really have to. i`m also hoping not to have to run the suspension at max height. getting the clearance via the tyres rather than the suspension if you know what i mean. that said it`ll be so tempting to wind the springs up when its done.

Ahhh! That may be a trade secret though!
I'd guess the platforms are spliced somehow, but it has to be spot on, both the cutting and welding.

Not something i want to try myself, dont think i would trust my welding skills. But would be interesting to see how its done.
When i have a spare couple of hours i going to draw up an arm on CAD and then come up with a tubular version just for the hell of it.

I think I can guess already the crucial one for an arm like that.

Holy mackerel, an array of arms there. The dual sport 3x3 ones have 'interesting' geometry!

Got them zinc plated for free by a friend. Got my hubs done as well. I know im going to still have to paint them as the zinc wont last, but i do like how they look now. I might just clear wax them.
I didnt really fancy galvanizing
