I don't even think you can build one for 15k now, what with the prices of rough vans now. You don't see any come up in the sub 3k bracket. I think to make any money on a resto the van has to be perfect and then sold in America/Canada where they will pay for a good quality van. But they are really only interested in westy's or 16"s

Got more US interest in mine when it was up for sale than anywhere else.

Didn't know that, if I sell, it will be to someone out there. Had a few interesting offers recently, but will be worth more sprayed

Your welding itself looks good....the pic shows the rear arch and corner piece an oth are available quite cheaply..for you to remove the old panel and plug weld a new one into position is within your skill I assure you...just girding and welding...eye for detail to line it up before welding..lack of somewhere to work is an issue but maybe outdoors in summer or a weekend at work?
Don't be to down heartened yet..the stuctural stuff, though not O.E will work fine...
