just rebuilt mine at home, was really easy and only cost 60 quid, tested it on the beach at the weekend and it worked great

Mine now locks the front wheels solid on tight turns in the carpark.
So its now SORN'd & laid up in a nice dry storage facility until I can get it rebuilt/replaced.

Bought an exchange VC at VW-classic parts.
